wrote the song "We Once Knew" using an old key/synth I have.
I intended to compose a song with just four chords having in mind some rhythmic drum elements that were influenced by some hip-hop rhythms.
I had originally planned to keep the song instrumental because I thought the flow was really danceable; the lyrics came afterwards.
Although I'm not sure what the words are saying, I think everyone will ultimately interpret them in their own manner.
Instead, the video's concept was captured on camera with a friend during a summer day. He reacted with those entertaining dancing moves during sunset when I asked him how he would have danced the tune.
Produced in June 2022 in the Adriatica Studio in London by the duo Monte, and mastered in Italy at StudioGaudio (Taranto) by Francesco Gaudio.
